1 - Beginner Tem pouco conhecimento da língua. Conhece algumas palavras e expressões básicas. Não entende a língua falada.
2 - Elementary Pode comunicar-se usando estruturas básicas. O vocabulário é limitado em situações do dia a dia. Tem dificuldade para entender a linguagem coloquial.
3 - Low Intermediate Pode participar de conversas sobre diversos assuntos usando vocabulário e estruturas simples com razoavel desenvoltura. Pode entender a maioria das conversas se forem conduzidas lenta e claramente.

Dois anos para atingir este estágio em curso regular
com aulas de 90 minutos, duas vezes por semana.

4 - Intermediate Tem melhor controle das estruturas e um vocabulário prático. Erros ainda são frequentes mas tem uma boa compreensão da língua e pode captar a idéia geral em conversações rápidas.

Intermediate
High Intermediate Possui ampla variedade de estruturas usadas e uma boa desenvoltura na conversação. Alguns erros tipícos ainda prevalecem. Boa compreensão global e amplo vocabulário.
6 - Advanced Comunica-se muito bem usando a maioria das estruturas corretamente. Pode conversar sobre uma grande variedade de tópicos usando vocabulário apropriado e linguagem idiomática.
7 -  Fully Proficient Comunica-se fluentemente acerca de vários assuntos com proficiencia.
